LABORATORY TESTS MAY INCLUDE:psa(prostate speific antigen,URINALYSIS,URINE CULTURE, BLOOD UREA NITROGEN(BUN)&CREATININE
NON-LABORATORY TESTS MAY INCLUDE: 1,dre(digital rectal examination) 2, ultrasound 3, cystoscopy, 4, urine flow and/or
pressure studies. 4,TRUS guided prostate biopsy. TREATMENT: 1,watchful waiting, 2, medical treatment, surgical treatment
- TURP trans uterthral resection of prostste(gold standard) OTHER SURGICAL TREATMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1,Trans urethral incision of prostate(TUIP).2,high intensity focussed ultrasound(HIFU)
3,Trans urethral vaporization of prostate.4,trans urethral needle ablation of prostate.5,various types of laser
treaments.
